Position Overview

The VP, Solution Engineering will set the technical direction for the team while cultivating lasting relationships with customers by understanding their unique needs and providing tailored solutions. You will lead and build a world-class team of technical champions advocating for our customers both internally and through partnerships. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Solutions Engineering organization, ensuring we have the right talent, tools, and processes in place to support our aggressive sales goals. Your ultimate mission is to ensure world class customer experience working through all aspects of customer journey before, during and after deployment.


Essential Job Functions

Technical Expertise & Customer Focus:

• Possess expertise in wireless connectivity (both Ceragon solutions and adjacent technologies), staying updated on market trends and competitor offerings.

• Institute sign-off for all designs by team and create weekly review of all designs with the team

• Serve as a North American customer advocate within Ceragon by collaborating with PLM and R&D  teams; ensure solutions are aligned with North America customer needs and sales requirements. This relates to both Ceragon’s proprietary technology as well as integrated multi-technology solutions. • Serve as a trusted advisor to the sales teams, internal operations teams, and customers by providing technical guidance and addressing complex customer challenges.

• Ensure all aspects of the engineering process are completed for smooth handover to Delivery; facilitate handover meetings


Leadership & Team Building:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of talented solution engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and high performance.

• Recruit, onboard, and retain top-tier sales engineering talent, ensuring alignment with the business unit objectives and the company's


Strategic Execution:

• Work with team to articulate the solutions required for our customers; engage and select partners as required to complete said solutions

•Develop and implement strategic sales engineering initiatives aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.

• Partner with the sales leadership team to define market positioning, competitive strategies, and pricing models.

• Implement agreed solutions in our Plano lab for validation and demonstration to customers

• Oversee the development and delivery of compelling technical presentations, demos, and proof-of-concepts for prospective clients.


Results & Accountability:

• Drive customer experience by designing the most effective solutions that address customer pain points

• Effectively deploy the sales engineering team  

• Develop and manage KPIs and budgets for the sales engineering team, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Drive improvements with solutions, timelines, execution

Job Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of experience in solutions engineering in the following domains: IP Routing L1-L3, RF, Spectrum, LMR, CBRS, PLTE, FWA, MW, mmW, with a proven track record of success.

• Deep knowledge of wireless communications (transport and access), transport services (fiber and wireless), network infrastructure, and core telecommunications technologies.

• Experience working for or as a system integrator in the wireless private network space is preferred.

• Knowledge of key enterprise verticals, including SLED, Public Safety, Energy, utilities

• Extensive experience in building and leading high-performing sales engineering teams.

• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a collaborative spirit.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer-centric approach.

• Passion for technology and its role in transforming the connectivity landscape.
