Job Description

I. Planning for End-to-End Decom Cluster Program:

Identify the decom candidates for (Licence, rental and energy saving initiative)
Prepare the high-level cluster plan with estimations of savings.
Decom EO creation and consolidation of the legacy EO’s.
Provide technical support to the Deployment team, confirmation, clear dependencies, clarifications, etc.
Review the decom reports and ensure we are within the cost estimate.
Reviewing and coordinating all Property Team inquiries before and after decom.
Weekly Governance meeting with Property Team and the respective stakeholders
Regular updates on Aphelia system and weekly progress reporting.

II. Microwave expert support for special technical cases in order to review and provide expert issue resolution and feedback.

III. Planning for Onboarding programs (Microwave, LEO, FSO, Sync, etc.). Elaborating Feasibility, TCO, business cases, etc.

IV. Automation improvement:

ASIMOV Antenna sizes Optimization to reduce cost and avoid over dimensioning. Continue enhancement.
Licences Fees Automation tool review and enhance.

V. Special Projects/events – Preparation works:

New year’s evening/Boxing day/Seasonal Monthly Forum (including Seasonal Traffic report).
Weekly Ops Dashboard review, support in get well forum, following up Network Incident of Top 10 escalations until closure.

VI. Obsolescence Equipment analysis and tracker maintenance.

VII. Elaborate 3y, 5y and 10y Tx of Access Network for the business aligned with mobile input.

Preferably 5 years of experience in Microwave Network Planning roles.
Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronic or related Engineering.
Preferably PMP certificate.
Strong knowledge in Microwave Planning, Optical Fibre, Network Deployment.
Experience with Microwave Planning tools (i.e. Pathloss 5.1, Atoll, etc.) for Link Budget/Path Analysis creation.
Good communication skills, capability to summarize technical scenarios in simple words for the understanding of stakeholders.
Advanced level of MS Excel and MS Project.
