An expert on revenue accounting and collaborate cross-functionally with legal, sales, sales operations, operations and business finance relative to contract negotiations to provide guidance on technical accounting, policy and process issues around revenue recognition.
Proactively identify areas for process improvement and partner with other departments to streamline processes related to revenue and cost recognition to create bests practices across the organization.
Periodically review and update the Company’s revenue recognition policy documentation.
Work closely with the Company’s external auditors to ensure approved revenue policies are adhered to and monitored and prepare schedules and reports in support of annual audit ensuring that all revenue performance obligations are met.
Review subsidiaries revenue reporting and in charge of quarterly revenue recognition closing.
Manage a Weekly Forecast meetings, with the region and top management.
Preparation of internal memo’s.
CPA with Big4 experience.
Working knowledge of and experience with implementing of ASC 606 is a big plus.
Experience in revenue recognition according to US GAAP.
Detailed-oriented with superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
At least 3 years’ experience.
Ability to analyze and interpret customer contracts.
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
Exceptional business partnering skills, with demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and at various levels within the company.
Proven track record of driving projects to completion.
Knowledge in Oracle / ERP is a big plus.
Skills- Independent, multi-tasking ability, team player and strong supervisory.
Willingness to work extensive hours.
